I don't care to get into the fray of 4Q earnings, but all should know: don't claim Yahoo! and Zack's to be two separate reporting entities: Yahoo! gets its numbers from Zack's exclusively. They are one and the same on that regard.

I do have to chuckle at those who listened to the CC and found the CFO to be less than charismatic. I'll take good numbers reported artlessly to bad numbers trumpeted with slick willie-ishness any day.

For those seeking not value but spin, try the internuts. I tend to put my money behind profitable companies.

2. I have a feeling a big ex-insider is shedding a large position

You're correct here. Apparently an insider at one of the operations that IFCI bought out is retiring and selling a large stake. The overhang was mentioned in the CC but they expected the selling to be about over from this person (sorry can't remember the name). If you go to the Insider Trader you can see the magnitude of the recent selling.

Chris,

I agree with your post. The one other thing that I like is that quite a few of the posters here have sold out of their position. That may indicate there is some pent up buying power out there.
