Howdy Warren,

Lots of the small ISP's are supporting the multi-link that comes with Windows 98. Using two 56K in parallel and another phone line with the ISP providing a second modem on the same bank at their end it gives one a poor man IDSL. The baud rate will do 112k out and in for about an extra $32 per month beyond what you would normally pay. For a 112k line that is a pretty good deal.

U.S. Robotics modems seem to be real good choices for the modems. Just ask the ISP if they can support multilink function.

Bill

I currently have access through the University of Minn. through my wife's access. They have fast access, at least when I have used the systems at the U of M library. It is probably the fastest internet response I have seen, I am sure the dial up access won't be as good. We'll see.
