Re: I am unhappy because you appear to have misled me badly. All this time I've been thinking "Wow, he's really taking the squeeze," when in fact there never was any squeeze; unlike a true short, your risk was limited at the outset. Alex First of all, I have explained many times on this thread that I am not hurting and I am not in pain. Sorry to disappoint you but I am not getting squeezed. That is not to say I enjoy losing money. But it is not the first time a trade has gone the wrong direction. As I have said many times you lose some and you win some that is why you have to diversify. No matter how confident an investor is, you have to be able to handle bad trades. I can handle it. Second of all, I have explained that some of my short positions are in the form of PUTS. See below: "Also some of those short positions are PUTS, which have limited downside. So you see SUNW will never massacre me. But MSFT might massacre SUNW. <g>!"Message 6554698 On another thread I disclosed I was short CPQ, (without getting into the specifics) I am short CPQ, but I might consider covering.techstocks.com Later I disclosed I closed out my PUTS "I closed out my CPQ APR 45 and 40 PUTS. Dale"techstocks.com Here again I explain I am not getting squeezed. My short positions are just part of my trading portfolio "My real money is long MSFT, my short positions are just part of my trading portfolio. And you are long SUNW so I doubt you have any complaints about investing. <g>"Message 8554193 Now I could point out many other references where I explained to this thread, that I am diversified and I will be Ok no matter what happens. But what is the use, some of you guys are just plain ornery and you get upset with me when I tell you I am not hurting. Or someone will ask me my opinion about SUNW, and then many times someone will get upset when I give my opinion.
