im not sure what your point is except that Oracle is making a better database which i already said im sure they will continue to do. Your missing my point that Oracle has failed miserably in entering any NEW growth markets - except for Larry flapping his lips that he's going to crush Siebel every quarter which he never does while Siebel has grown bigger than Oracle's apps business combined. Maybe Database sales will triple next quarter - most likely it wont - bottom line is Oracle will always be dependant on the health of the db sector for growth. but in case you havent noticed no ones paying a lot of money for enterprise database and software companies and things are likely to get worse before they get any better.

I dont think Oracle competes with Sun on VM implementations - and whats your definition of Server - could that be a database server??
