Brian,

>>>>> I don't know where all these bears came from. I think I should start doubling up on my long positions whenever everyone gets really bearish <<<<<

Interesting that you feel there are so many bears around. I checked with all my broker friends this morning and they are all giving me heat for having some PUT positions. In fact one of them(a childhood friend) called me an ass____le for not going long since he feels strongly that we are heading straight to 11000 by next month.

They all confirmed there is hardly any selling in their office, and still quite a bit buying. These are brokers at DEAN WITTER, MERRIL,PAYNE,WHEAT,GRUNTAL,GOLDMAN SACKs.

Well, there may be bears on SI, but from what I can see, not that many bears with these brokers and their office/customers. On the MDA thread there are about 10 bears - is that alot?
