I didn't say the Street takes a dim view at the alleged acquisition. But market dislikes uncertainties. Until the deal is spelled out black and white and fully consummated, some of the big boyz might just sit on their hands and wait.

PS: An analogy. AOL's price dropped when the initial rumor of NSCP came out; the stock then resummed its torrid run upward after the sky was clear.
