Re: Wireless Plays.

Hi Ibexx!

If you find more good pure-plays let me know. Especially now that I realize I can't just rely on your updating profile list. <g>

In my dreams WCOM and VOD both grow globally gigantic, then merge.

Best wishes,
Tom

Speaking of wireless being the "holy grail" for future data transmission, isn't Craig McCaw, who owns 20% of Nextel, the same fellow who started a satellite firm called Teledesic (still privately held)? Perhaps there is some hidden value (developing technology) in buying Nextel?

Also, it is reported that MCI had investigated a purchase of Nextel in the mid 90's. From this info, it could be concluded that the revisiting of this deal may be on the advice of high ranking ex-MCI managers still with the company (not Ebbers).
