I am totally for 24 hour trading. It can work and it will. You have to give the people what they want and level the playing field. A restricted trading day is something which will quickly become something we look back on and laugh. But let the brave go first!

Also, I believe that 24 hour trading will bring many more foreign dollars into the American stock market. But it would be nice to see the Nasdaq cleaned up first or we'll see these message boards deteriorating even more than they already have.

Lola:)

24 Hour trading can not work.. and I am not in favor of it...It would only benefit the ECN's and would destroy alot of lives

I doubt it. People adapt, particularly when it is clear that there is a demand for whatever it is at issue.

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."
