E,

Thanks for the feedback on this one.

I agree with you. This one is pretty difficult to read at this point. I am just going to keep an eye on it and decide what to do when the situation looks a little more readable. Downside, I agree: 5 is it, barring a market meltdown. But the lack of an upside beyond 8+ in the forseeable future makes this one difficult to sit on long term.

But I still like their products. I know how difficult it is to build, market and support international multi-lingual products. Having worked directly with and for a German company, who is doing the same thing in the glass industry, has given me a lot of insight into the problems they have faced. It is not easy to do and be profitable at the same time. Especially for a small company.

Regards,

Jim

Hi E!

VERA@5 7/8

Well this one didn't take long to tell the down trend is still intact. The softwares are getting their butts kicked today. A lot of this is due to Y2K. When companies have to spend money to fix Y2K problems, they do not have the money to spend on new software or upgrades. This has a bigger effect on companies that sell the stuff that you don't find at CompUSA - systems and application software for big business. Unfortunately VERA is caught up this group.

If VERA can show continued good earnings, then I think it will recover. But at this point I think we will see 5 before 7.

ORCL down another 10% today. Still a falling knife. Will wait for that one to stabilize first. They are the best at what they do - database software. And this comes from someone who lives in MSFT country!

Regards,

Jim

Hi E!

Looks like this one is starting to move. Up 5/8 in the last 15 minutes. Total volume went from 3300 to 43,000 in this time period. Someone is doing some serious buying.

Regards,

Jim
