From what I recall Yahoo generally rallys towards earnings announcements, sells off the day or two before they are announced, always beats estimates, but then sells off for several days once their numbers are out.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw this scenerio occur yet again given it's tremendous recent runup. We shall see.

I've learned my trading lesson of never going long on a stock directly before earnings are announced. I've been burned doing this more times than not.
