as those who can not see.

BT is a totally secure remote access system that operates off of dial in connections thus not requiring going through the firewall of a corporation. It has a very extreme security level even doing that, far more than most other RAS.

With BT you are incorporating total access to/from your corporate PBX which allows you to transparantly appear as if you were at your desk. Were I out of town and filing reports, if my secretary hit my plain extension # it would ring on my laptop, works in reverse too.

The wonder of it is the absolutely outstanding job they've done with their adaptation of CELP compression technology, something that originated out of Bell Labs. After years of work you really can't discern any difference between a call made over BT and one that's a plain toll call even if the BT user is reading Dilbert at the same time.

I may expound on this later but I'm tired. It's very hard to try to explain some technology but I'm doing my best to do so in my tired state.
