Robert,

You might read the latest issue of "Newsweek"
magazine. Their coverage is very balanced.
They also cover some of the attrocities that
have been committed by Muslims/Albainians
and the "KLA" against Serbs and even Albanians
who refuse to help the KLA. There is no
"innocents" in this war...just like in Bosnia
and Croatia, they are all "guilty". Now the
question is why Clinton thinks it necessary to
get involved. That remains to be answered since
even Clinton has failed to explain to the American
people why our young people need to die in this war.

<Don't be so quick to call NATO's efforts a failure. If you accept the fact that the slob Milosevic had massed troops on the border of Kosovo and was ready for the ethnic cleansing of Kosovo, then we acted very quickly in an attempt to stop them.>

NATO and the US have been watching Milosevic for a long time, we've even threatened him a number of times before. Unfortunately we backed down and we didn't keep our word. I think the US and NATO must be tough and clear about what they're doing.
Although I'm glad to see that sanctions were lifted on Lybia right away..

<Bombings didn't work in Vietnam, which was a more agricultural society. But, in a more industrial Yugoslavia, bombing can have a devastating effect. If you doubt this, ask the Serbs!>

The refugees are doing to have to back there too. By not being better prepared we allowed Milosevic to accomplish what he sit out to do, namely kill and destroy everything he felt like.

<<What other choice do they have?>>
<<What do you think the chances are that slob Milosevic will ever be tried for crimes against humanity? Perhaps, once the Serbian people wake up to the fact that he seeks to imprison all Serbs in a dictatorship and steal more millions from them, perhaps the Serbian people will put him on trial!?>>

We already decided to get involved. We should have enough will to continue until he's handed over to the UN. This shouldn't be up for negotiation.
He'd be handed over as soon as they realize we're serious.
