Drake, I think it is a budgetary shift. IT departments have only so much to spend. Right now a lot of the budget is diverted to Y2K remediation. I understand that this will probably continue to be a factor into the first half of 2000, but should be easing beginning in Q4 of this year. We shall see.

Intermediate term (6-9 months) NETA is dead. Face it. Strategize your moves with that in mind. 12-13 is not out of question so wait for that as the bleeding has just begun.
I have been in countless tech stocks that have had uncertain periods like these and within 9-12 months they are back. Look at LSI, LRCX, KLAC, NN, ASND and learn. This is the Wall Street way with high-techs.
