So far I counted three lawsuits (unless Morris and Morris is counted twice). Dollar figure for potential damage? That is the $ 64M question.

<<Does anyone know HOW MANY lawsuits there are against CPQ now? I have lost count. >>

I don't know...but if these new lawsuits vs. CPQ keep coming, they may become an even more marginal place for investment dollars. There are still a few crazy value Fund Managers that like the stock. I can't find the value ....Consider CPQ's ROIC, lack of focus, leadership problems, etc...Its an easy decision to migrate over to DELL.

CPQ is having trouble leaving the low 30s... and if they warn, watch out below. You couldn't pay me enough to own this stock. I would rather own almost any internet stock (even those without earnings). A lot of this has to do with execution and perception in the market. CPQ is viewed (by the smart money) as a ship without a rudder with dark clouds hanging over it. DELL is taking share from them in many major markets. This trend should accelerate.

Just My Thoughts.

Regards,

Scott

CPQ Lawsuits,

I have no idea of the number of lawsuits pending against CPQ... The only thing I can say for sure is that litigation defense is not a notably effective bottom-line enhancer.
