in today's reality of billion dollar buy-outs, what advantage does 300 million give GNET?

The billion-dollar buyouts are stock deals. GNET now has the overvalued stock price to play with the best of 'em in that game. The cash (along with its positive cash flow) gives it the liquidity it needs to buy all the servers and T1 lines it needs to keep up with demand, buy advertising, pay salaries, and -- if necessary -- pay a fair cash price for an attractive candidate that isn't interested in stock deals.
