I would say go long on SUNW for sure. They will experience an
enormous growth in revenues & earnings over the next 5 years.
Can't miss.

With respect to MSFT, it's a maybe. They are still an agressive
competitor, and in the short-term will still be successful in
selling desktop software (especially foreign sales), but it remains
to be seen if they can transition successfully from a desktop
company to an internet content provider. Then again, there's the
DOJ lawsuit....

Yes, I am invested in both, and notwithstanding what Cheryl says...

1- the market is big enough for both of them

2- they are not really in the same markets, they are really more complementary... Heresy to a Unix bigot, but true

3- Mission critical + --> Sun
Less important & desktop --> MSFT

4- SUN is killing OTHER Unix vendors, NOT MSFT. They have their areas pretty well protected respectively
