Dale,

Re: I am amazed that this thread isn't smacking ICCAC every minute of every day.

I believe it has something to do with the float. ICCAC just does not have the volume, so a short squeeze is easy to manipulate.

My 2 cents,

New ticker is VCST set

The PR:

Wednesday April 7, 11:00 AM Eastern time
Company Press Release
MultiMedia Access Corporation Changes Name to ViewCast.com; Nasdaq Ticker Symbol to Change from MMAC to VCST
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1999--MultiMedia Access Corporation (Nasdaq:MMAC), a leading supplier of components, systems, and turnkey solutions for video communications equipment and Internet video streaming, announced today that it will change its name to ViewCast.com, Inc., to more accurately reflect the company's position in the Internet video streaming market.

"MMAC has historically been known as a development house with a breadth of core video technology and a focus on video conferencing. However, some of our most significant successes to date have been in the Internet streaming video market," said Bill Jobe, President and CEO of ViewCast.com. "Our vision is to leverage our core technology and extend our penetration into the networked video market, an arena that offers enormous opportunities. We believe the name ViewCast.com is more representative of our strategic focus."

ViewCast.com demonstrated the industry's first turnkey system for Internet streaming video - the ViewCast(R) system - in September 1997. Since then, ViewCast.com's entire product line has expanded its penetration into the networked video arena with its unique blend of component, system, and complete solution products. Critical to the success in the Internet video market has been the company's focus on technology development adding value to solutions delivered by leading industry partners:

-- ViewCast systems offer the industry's first turnkey solutions for

the industry's leading streaming video applications RealNetworks

RealSystem G2 and Microsoft's Windows Media Technologies

(formerly NetShow).

-- ViewCast systems offer the industry's only hardware RealNetworks

G2 encoder for unique multi-stream encoding capability.

-- ViewCast.com's Osprey video capture cards have been recommended

and sold by RealNetworks since the announcement of RealVideo, and

are recommended by Microsoft as the only video capture card

meeting the requirements of Windows Media thus representing a de

facto standard for video capture in the Internet video industry.

-- ViewCast.com's Osprey cards and codecs have been chosen by

leading OEM suppliers including Compaq Computer Systems,

Intergraph Computer Systems, FVC.COM and Sun Microsystems as the

foundation for their networked video platforms, applications, and

solutions.

-- ViewCast.com's ViewPoint VBX systems deliver the unique and

powerful ability to transition legacy video communication

equipment into networked video solutions, giving existing

applications the power of Internet video distribution.

-- The ViewCast VideoLogger is the industry's only single system

video/audio logging and encoding station leveraging

ViewCast.com's partnerships with leading application software

packages in the streaming video space.

"Our objective is to continue to provide industry leading components, systems, and turnkey solutions for networked video applications. Our products add value for anyone from the first-time creators of Internet video content to the professional network video broadcaster," added Mr. Jobe. "The key to our continued success in the Internet video space is the combination of our own core technology development and our relationships with leading industry partners."

The company's new Nasdaq ticker symbol will be VCST. The change will take place before the market opens on April 8, 1999.

Dale, you're absolutely right about ICCAC. This company is a pure crap. Now that volume is picking up, I'll join you soon. Hang it there, this company will go to -0- in near future.
