Paul,

So what's the deal? AMD delayed earnings a week just so they could fit in another warning?? Truly unbelievable....downright comical. It's a good thing warnings aren't like timeouts or AMD would have used all three in the first quarter. Given their history...they should be saving some for the next three quarters. I still believe that at some point, AMD should only be obligated to warn if they are going to show a profit. Now that is something to warn about....after all the last thing they need is more law suits in the future from disgruntled shorts because AMD turned an unexpected/unannounced profit <gg>.

Xeons running at 550 MHz with 1MB and 2MB of cache memory and the ability to be used in four- and eight-processor systems will follow in the third quarter. The chip will exceed 600 MHz before the end of the year, Paul Otellini, general manager of the Intel Architecture Business Group, has previously said.

I thought the large cache Xeons were supposed to ship before Q3 is this a delay?
