I agree. Eventually, as I have said many times on the thread, our cars will be equipped with onboard communications system in the console: radio, cdma phone, GPS and security system all in one. But, this is a 1962 classic car with a tube radio, and anything new has to be hidden so it does not change the appearance.

Art "...I believe there are GPS devices that now can be fitted to OMNItracs equipment." OmniTRACS is position location, with messaging thrown in. No need for GPS unless you mean maps and other navigational software which use the OmniTRACS position as a starting point for whatever information is required - for example to find motels, restaurants or tow-trucks in the area.
