Steve,

The ONLY reasons AMD based systems sell for less is because AMD allowed their product to be hammered into that pricing range.

So how do you explain the fact that not a single OEM ships an AMD based business system?

AMD's management is forced to deal with the reality that it takes time and money to work their way into an established marketplace. Honda took many years to reach price parity with American cars. K6 has been shipping for less than 2 years.

If you want something to be angry about, examine Intel's market segmentation strategy and figure out what it is really all about.
