Re E-Trade .... I've sent an e-mail asking them when the service is likely to improve. The problems seem to have increased since the mandatory use of the new E-Trade over the Classic, so I assumed ... probably incorrectly, that they have increased volume on the same number of servers, keeping the 'Classic' ones on standby till the switch-over was complete. That safety window should be closed by now and the additional Classic servers put to use ... but I am not seeing any improvement in their service. Frankly I cannot go long on daytrades at this level of the market as any turn would mean I would not be able to close the position quickly. If I get any response ... other than the usual spin, I'll let everyone know. Regards Stephen I
