Oh, LOL, Ms. Rambi. Yes, you're doing just fine.

My dad has a wonderful pool but it was all full of leaves and algae. I told him I wanted to go swimming so he had people come out and clean it, I watched from inside, two people, a man and a woman, they worked hard cleaning out the crud, and then poured in a jolt of chlorine. I waited a couple of days and tried swimming - - yow!, the water was like ice. My dad said I was a wuss (not in so many words), he and my younger son and baby brother swam in it.

One of the houses we are looking at now has been on the market for months, it has a pool, I wonder if that's why. I'd love to have a pool.

Am I getting the hang of this???

Ummmm...yes...however, the effluvial outpouring of pollyannish ebullience here is becoming just a touch nauseating. I dearly hope it is not contagious...why...my CTEC that I bought for 14 is up a quarter!! Now 2-3/4!! A major move! Could be the harbinger of a rally! How nice! Oh dear me, it is contagious...why, the fifty page proposal that I wrote and made five copies of to send out today is entirely dated 1998 instead of 1999! On every page! Well, how nice, at least I was only one year off. Ummmm...gracious. Tell me, is there a vaccine??

Interesting thing happened today, probably just a coincidence, but who knows? Chris' car was in the shop, I had to pick him up at the Vienna metro and drive him to the mechanic, and I hit every red light, which is unusual for me. I usually don't hit any on that particular road, and I was musing on it. Some people would say they had bad luck, others, me that is, would say that there was a reason, God and/or my guardian angle didn't want me to be in a certain place at a certain time. Reverse paranoia, you know, someone up there likes me. So just before I got on I-66 I saw that the on-ramp was backing up and the interstate traffic had stopped dead. If I had been a few minutes sooner, I would have been stuck in it for a long time, it was a bad wreck that blocked the interstate completely.
