I absolutely agree with you that the fact that innocent civilians are being vistimized is terrible. It's just you can't blame Milo (not saying he is a good leader, it's up to the people of Serbia to decide) for trying to prevent the break down of his country.
I also think that civilians were probably dying on both sides throughout the conflict.

What I am saying is that it's hard to say (like in many civil wars) who is right or wrong in this conflict. It seems to me there has been a lot of violence and hatred in the area since the beginning of the century, which explains the existence of web pages like this one:
