jill... re: dell disappointed last quarter... agree with you!

disappointed in the eyes of the analysts perception of what they demanded....fortunately the analyst don't run the "real business"...for they would have had a going out of business sale, to raise capital to buy revenue growing money losing internets..

perversity thy name is expectation.....without a basis in reality..

ciao...

Hi Jill, re:<< ...some shareholders actually picked it up at 35, of that I'm jealous>> Yes, I missed the 35 buying opportunity...got back in at 38. Sold at 42+. As I said, I'm now trading the stock.

Don't get me wrong, I think Dell is a great company with great products. In fact, I'm posting this message from my Dell Dimension XPS. Great tech support and management. However, at this time, the company is being viewed with a cautious eye by the Wall Street powers. This makes it difficult for the stock to perform as we have become accustom too...3, 4, 5 point movement in a day.

It will take sometime for things to work themselves out. This quarter is very important for the company and the stocks future performance.
