Hal, I agree with you. mini's are much easier to trade profitably than options.
TT told me that several years ago but i was slow to switch because of perceived risk.
mini's are great, i'm sure spoo's will be even better<g> when i switch to the spoo.

I have never traded SPOOs. What kind of percentage can you get? I haven't had a problem, even get fills at the ask. I am not trading large sums of money <$10K that way my risk is less. Never more than 20 options, especially when I trade the lower priced options.
