It should be enough, but barely. I'd personally opt for a RAID-0 SCSI configuration as a large portfolio will require extensive HD usage. Also, another 128k or so of ram wouldn't hurt either. A dual-processor system would be preferrable if you have the cash. You should also confirm with your quote vendor that you have access to that many symbols. Internet vendors are limited to 1000 or 500, while some satelite feeds are capped at 32k symbols. Larry.
