People , people , people. Current owners of TNRG have "0" shares of TIPS at this moment. When the DOR is announced if you still own TNRG on the announced date then you will have 1 TIPS share for every 4 TNRG shares you have on the DOR date. You will still own the 4 TNRG shares. If you sell TNRG now you get "0" TIPS shares. The trading you see now is from free standing shares in the float "not free shares paid as a dividend. If you want to buy now , call your broker.
