The rule doesn't apply to X-Land, only civilized countries. Sorry.

No, X, you can't weasel out of it as you are trying to do here:

"I don't care -- my policy as a world leader of my own small country (x-land)is that we don't take mass migrations."

In your original post, you cited x-land's policy as a model for other countries to follow.

The US has followed such a policy in the past, as when it refused to allow a ship full of Jewish refugees to land here, shortly before WW II. Eventually, the ship (I have forgotten its name) had to return to Europe, and many of the people who sailed on it subsequently died in Nazi death camps....

My father worked for UNRRA after the war, and was in charge of repatriating ex-prisoners of war and forced labor camp inmates back to the Soviet Union. Seeing their resistance, he assumed at first that they were all Nazi collaborators. It took a while for him to grasp the true state of affairs .....He remembered one case in particular, when Cossacks, men and women, knowing what awaited them back "home", threw themselves under the tanks that had been sent in to round them up. It haunted him for years.

Why do you suppose we are so sensitive on this subject?

"No man is an island..." Or woman either...
