Not sure what you mean?
Are you saying that you never heard of Tucker Anthony? They
are now part of Freedom Securities (FSI). I believe that Musser
is a shareholder of FSI. They have followed SFE for YEARS and
have been underwriters for several SFE rights offerings. Tucker
analyst who like most old time analysts was tracking SFE stock price
based on NAV. Now analyst has changed his thinking and seems very
bullish on the company and its stock.

Any thing else..Just ask..

All,

Without rights offerings, there is absolutely no reason to invest in SFE at these levels.

If you want ICG, buy it outright. They had stated an intention to offer rights offerings similar to Safeguard for their companies, but I guess that may not happen now, given the valuation they can command for their companies without giving them away.

As a side not, it makes sense that SFE had to do away with the rights offerings, or there would have been a 2-tier system in place: "Buy the best (i.e. Internet) companies at full retail, and get the slop for $5, but it's not even worth that."

Oh well...
