3Com is really scraping the bottom of the barrel to produce "news." I mean, do we really need to know about a network for 700 cruise ship employees and the 400 person law firm a few days ago? If you read these releases, you realize 3Com only sold about half a dozen switches. Meanwhile, over the same week where where 3Com is touting its miniscule sales, Cisco booked over $150 million in orders on their web-site alone.

Doughboy.

Well folks my misery has finally come to an end. I sold my 10,000shs today at 22. Looking at the fundamentals of the company I decided the risk exceeded the reward. Fortunately my holding in Cisco is much larger.

Coms has break-up value but I see a real loss of direction in the last two years with them trying to play the "edge".

I wish you all well,

Regards,

Eric
