I'm amazed that they waited this long to break the news. It goes to show one of two things: 1) they've got such a bad handle on things that they're just now figuring out that they missed the quarter that ended March 31; and/or 2) they're hiding this in the news on a Friday afternoon, two weeks after they should've warned.

Why doesn't Michael just tender an offer on Monday after CPQ shares tank, close the non-essential CPQ mfg. operations, grab an Altavista Search Engine and a well-established service organization (DEC), show Pfeiffer and Mason the door, and get on about the business of ruling the PC world? Just a thought.
