gene: How could you be so wrong. Only yesterday you were saying that COMPAQ would meet its numbers. You were only a bit more wrong that jim kelley who predicted 31 cents. What a bunch of losers you two church wardens are. You skulk around claiming that CPQ is stuffing the channel and that is the reason it will meet its numbers, and when it doesn't you claim you were right anyway. Tell jim that his average prediction is going to be more seriously out of wack than even I thought. 55% wrong in Q4 and it looks like 50% wrong in 1Q.

Gene... Like others here, I am taking a beating with CPQ, but it is nothing new to me and I can deal with it. I'll just have to wait about 6 mos, maybe less, to break even. Others on this thread bought in the high 40s and may have to wait longer and are really being hurt by this announcement. Your conduct at this time is despicable and amounts to nothing more than a kick 'em when they're down mentality. Why don't you show some class and back off for the benefit of those who are new to the thread and who have lost quite a good deal of money. As for myself, I could care less about your weasel-like tactics. El
