You are not alone in the world of people with bad returns on some advise of brokers who have the "culot" to call themselves adviser. Talk to my wife. In the last 3 year her returns were minus -19%!
Since last August she is back in the +30% with my calls. I should have taking care of her money long time ago.
Beleive or not I made better calls for her then I did for me. HA! HA!

My problem is that when I see the profit I'm pulling the triger to fast, as the stock continues to rise, I have to learn to be more patient.

Hi, Lorraine. I feel for you on some of those stocks - most frustrating when you're listening to the so-called experts and it doesn't work out. I recently saw an analyst report recommending a stock as a strong buy, meanwhile I know the analyst was telling "those in the know" to sell. I personally try to do my own due diligence for this very reason, however if you ever see any discrepancies in my DD, please call me on it! There's lots of very smart people on these threads - I continue to learn daily. Good luck to you!

Lorraine ABC - 1.40 to 14 and thenlosing it is not bad luck - bad advice. You had good luck followed by bad advice followed by the expected.

I examined my inlaws accts after they were changing brokers. Unbeknownst to them it was not BRe-x the clown had bought them as they thought - only $4k - He had purchased BRe-X options. I will be glad when Schwab gets set up - They bonus their brokers on how they grwo their clients protfolios not on commission and how much they sell of the stox they are pushing
