'Dear Michael' I said-----> Apratim: Oh I see, I guess I didn't get it then.<g> I guess now if CPQ makes 0.16 that will most likely be viewed by Merrill and the gang as a blow out quarter resulting in a few 'strong buys'.<lol> Anyway I just sent an email to Dell,it went something like this,I don't know, you guys may want to consider it if deemed appropriate. ======================'Dear Michael: On account of Compaq's warning this evening (though forewarned in Feb) I feel like it will be bloody murder for tech stocks come Monday and I am sure you know exactly what I am talking about... If what the press reported yesterday after Dell's analysts meeting is any indication Dell is doing quite well inspite of the industry woes....... If this is true I wish Dell comes out with a strong press release and defend their turf. Please don't let Compaq's problems become Dell's problem. Man,every time Dell has any good news to announce these Compaq guys come and screw it up and try to upstage Dell out of desperation. My only request to you is please don't keep silent and let Compaq call the shot for Dell on Monday or any day for that matter, it has been happening too often.......
