Well.. it seems to me that even tho they're unrelated the negative earnings news (cut in half!)is contagious and freaks out the whole technology area.. could even effect the dow .. I think that people are nervous and dont trust the new paradigm .. still waiting for interest rates to rise along with the oil prices.. so any bit of bad news could set off selling.. It would be a buying opp cause they would soon jump back in.. but I think Monday could be kinda bloody.. ya think?

To all: Oh BABY!!! I was looking for a way for DCLK
to go back down into the low 120s!! Now we have that
reason, a mini Tech correction. The correction will
be short lived and DCLK as always will come out of
it unscathed and even stronger. INTC will revive the
ailing DAQ and we"ll be on our way back up to 150
in NO TIME!! Good Luck and for Pete sake do not, I
REPEAT, DO NOT let this buying opportunity PASS YOU
BUY!!! Buy DCLK and GO HOME HAPPY!!!!

Laura, I think today's hammering of CPQ is a symptom of the market's dissecting the "tech" sector ... moving out of the darlings of the past, and into those of the future. It has to be mystifying to those who still think "Internet stocks" are "computer stocks."
