<by virtue of its niche is Apple okay?>

As a rabid mac fan...may I state that mac is slashing prices faster than Big Mac hitting dingers last year. They don't even put the prices in MacMall now...they just say call for the latest price. The notebook I want has 8 gig/dvd/etc., etc. and was 6k 6 months ago. it is now approaching sub 3k.
