Ed,

I am OK with taunting, as the thread regulars (including myself) do taunt the bears on our good days. :-) I fully expect the bears to repay in kind when we are down (Are we, though? DELL didn't pre-warn, did it?) Also some of the bears do add a lot of value while some have comic appeal.

However, this particular individual adds 0 value to the thread IMHO. This I say not just as a non-TA-believer, his posts do not even have TA references. They are perfect examples of zero-content posts. In fact I am not sure what his posts are trying to say half the time. If this was a newsgroup I would kill file him.

Anyway.

Coming back to implied volatilities, they are on a clear upswing. I believe that they are at 65% now and I expect them to hit 70's in the next week. Of course this may be wishful thinking on my part, but I am sitting tight with my positions.

Planning put sells again this Monday? :-)

Bought some CNET October options this morning. The company has a backward PE of 3000 and a forward PE of 100 by my calculations. Amazing growth rate, if sustained. Well, I bought a laptop (a Toshiba and not a Dell) recently using their service. Also, I read news a lot from their site. Seems like good service to me. Will see.

Best wishes!

-BGR.

edamo,

re OINKMAN and your statement >my concern is the constant taunting on a down or critical day has the ability to rattle
those with a bit less courage of conviction after taking a position.<

A friend who got into Dell about a year ago (on my advice ggggg) was thinking about buying more last week at ~36 but made the mistake of reading this thread and lost his nerve because of the posts of OINKMAN. Guess I will have to make a list of posters to ignore for him. At least he didn't sell any.
