What A MESS ! 1.The TIPS stock should not have been open for trading until TNRG shareholders had received their shares. 2.The TIPS stock value at DOT time should have been valued=TNRG at that time. NOW WE HAVE: 1.TNRG stock ownership DOR will be some date ON or AFTER the public announcement of same. (call the SEC to verify rules) 2.TNRG has to notify their TA, the TA then notifies ALL respective Brokers, your broker then must credit your account with the appropriate quantity of TIPS shares. 3.This procedure can take from 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the efficiency level of the TA and your Broker. TA's & Broker's are not known for a high level of efficiency or quick response time in these matters. 4.This means that some will receive TIPS shares for trading in their accounts before others, could be several days or a week difference. 5.We have no way of knowing what TIPS will be trading for at that time. Could be from .01 to 10.00 depending on how much control Tilton has and willing to use through his ownership of 70% of stock. 6.We could miss a Internet Stock frenzy runup of TIPS in the mean time, although I doubt this will happen because any one wanting TIPS stock could get it cheaper by buying TNRG. I'm sure this is Tilton's reason for doing it this way, hoping that it will drive TNRG to at least a 3.00 level. 7.When spin off shares are received there will be a BIG sell off if TIPS share value is higher than TNRG, some will sell no matter what the value is. 8. If there is a substantial increase in TNRG stock between now and the DOR, it too will get hit with a large sell off. I will hold through this mess just to see it play out and because I believe Tilton is near genius and has figured a way to control the pitfalls I've mentioned. There is plenty of evidence that he has been 6 mo. to several years ahead in his planning and thinking even in the details, so I'm sticking with him. It's going to be exiting and maybe I'll get lucky. Any thoughts, please let me know where I'm off in my analogy. Be gentle please. Jim K.
