As much as it bugged me, I did defend Mr. Kelley's views earlier in the week. However, the pompous ass doesn't know when to quit --like you. (Go back and read his posting to which I was replying.) The less he belittles us inferior beings, the less he crows in victory, the more respect he gains for me.

I respect your views and I am always interested in Jim's analysis but in fact he was COMPLETELY off base on his 1Q analysis - not only not correct but missed both the symptoms and the results. He predicted that CPQ would make earnings estimates by stuffing the channel. It now appears obvious that neither has happened.

Have you actually read what Jim has been posting???
