Sorry Gord, I still don't see it. Allegedly, the KLA was armed and financed by radical Muslim groups like Osama Bin Laden who, you will recall, was also the target of US cruise missiles for blowing up the US Embassies in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam. Suddenly, these boys are worth protecting with American lives! Just because Milosevic didn't want to listen to Her Royal Highness, Madeleine Albright. Important to keep in mind, however much one may despise Milosevic, that Yugoslavia was an ally of US and Britain in two world wars. Surely, relationships like this are more important than trying to make friends with the cousins of people who put bombs in the World Trade Center, shot down the plane over Lockerbie and, more than likely, also shot down TWA400 and the Swissair plane over Halifax.
