SS - I think one has to be very careful here not to descend into bigotry - i.e. my lumping all muslims into the terrorist category - instead of recognising the plight of ordinary decent people. As for Yugoslavia being an ally way back - it was - but the country under Tito was a far cry from the regime of this butcher - who should be #1 when it comes to declaring who is a war criminal in this whole sorry conflict. dd

Hello Searle. I have wondered if the USA and Briton fear Bin Laden
or any of those terrorist a lot more than they let on. Don't know how many times I have heard here and elsewhere how easy it would be to
bring suitcase bombs or chemical weapons into the USA and like you have mentioned the World Trade Center, Swissair, TWA 400 these may only be a small sample of what can be done by these terrorist
groups so maybe the thinking is if we help these guys out they may be less likely to carry out attacks over here. Who knows .
This conflict costs a lot of money so got to be some big big money people involved here.
