Good point, Stubbs.
I don't think that the army would organize a training session for 23 instructors if they did not want to buy the product.
The inclusion of FAST-1 in 'in the internationally renowned textbook
"Basic Trauma Life Support for Advanced EMS Providers"' seems to confirm PYNG's high evaluations of the product.

Obviously, one can bitch about the junior. And some on the thread choose to do so quite frequently. I guess one of the reasons we come to SI is to vent our frustrations.

Let me vent my tubes.

1. How many of us wondered back in February/March when the trials will be over?

We do not have to scratch our heads anymore. Pyng has successfully completed the field trials. Now, they have the evidence that FAST-1 works in real life.

2. Some of us wanted to know when Pyng expects to start selling FAST-1.

The answer is: ' by the fourth quarter 1999'.
If the delivery is to take place by October, one could guess that purchase orders have to come at least a couple of months earlier, as well the production has to start pretty soon. Pyng is talking about MASS production, hence MASS distribution.

3. Now read this:

' Pyng Medical Corp. will be negotiating with and establishing regional distributors for the
System.'

and

'The company intends to handle all military contracts in-house.'

They are not selling out to J&J or anybody else. If FAST-1 becomes a part of EM standard, we, shareholders will get handsomely rewarded, not the management of J&J or some other big corporation.
By handling the business with military in-house, Pyng cuts the middle-man as much as possible.

4. Some of us were very upset about lack of PR.

Again, we might as well stop worrying.

They 'intend to appoint a media
consultant to provide wide coverage for both advertising and
editorial coverage on the F.A.S.T 1 System in appropriate medical,
business, and investment journals.'

It looks that a lot of PR might be coming soon.

In my opinion the Friday's new is excellent.

Regards,

AH

RE: Military Field Trainging---
We know that some of our military forces did'nt give our company a ringing endoesement;
that 23 instructors were used apparently in the latest Walter Reed trials does not indicate in any manner, shape or form that the military is predisposed favorably, more that an all-around objective evaluation was conducted;
that the company will directly handle all military orders chills me more than thrills me.
Why was this released on a Friday night?

Stubbs, the short answer to your question

******************************************************************
Is this not independent credibility(following release) and the training of military units recently ???

Medical textbook accepts inclusion of Pyng's system

Pyng Technologies Corp PYT
Shares issued 9,788,905 Mar 4 close $2.15
Fri 5 Mar 99 News Release

""""" Mr. Michael Jacobs reports, toot toot """""""

*****************************************************************

IS << NO >>

Now, go get Dr. John E. Campbell [ President of BTLS ] to confirm and agree with everything Jacob's said in the << PYNG >> release or better yet, go and find a BTLS statement truly endorsing PYNG's FAST-1 and I may agree that you have identified an ""INDEPENDENT"" source of "POSITIVE" news about the FAST-1 !! For all I know, the FAST-1 will be included in the book as a <<possible>> new but yet unproven IO device .... a curiosity item of sorts for the high brow readership.

Best of luck in your search ..... you'll need it !!!
