Hi Emile, Well the history of Judaism and the "role" of Jews in the world certainly is an interesting topic, isn't it? I simply think that your viewpoint is myopic. For one, why would someone so against so-called "Jews" worship another flavor of the same religion, namely Christianity? Do you accept the council-of-Nicea-created gospel as official, and whose interpretation of those words is correct? Is the Catholic Church of God or the Devil? It depends upon whom you ask. In any event, don't you think these "Jews" are laughing at you, in that you're practicing a bastardized version of their own religion? Does it bother you that Yahweh had to change His mind about you... that you weren't originally one of the chosen? You are a gentile, are you not? How about a happy thought from the council-of-Nicea-edited version of the gospel?: "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established." Romans 13:1 So... what to do when there are so many laws that no matter what a person does - including simply sitting on the porch sipping lemonade - they are guilty of disobeying these same "governing authorities?" "Beaureacracy is the final stage of civilization," Robert Anton Wilson Is there a Yahweh? Is He indeed the Most Powerful of All Gods? Did He change His covenant with humanity in midstream, from one of exclusivity into one of openness? These are all interesting questions. How many people seriously ponder them? What would your Hindus, Buddhists, and Muslims have to say about these questions? How about the Aztecs, or were they truly out of the question when considering a model for civilization? There's another big question.... Does the earth crave blood? Some people think so. That's the scariest - and at the same time most fascinating - thing about this whole mess. It's drawing a bunch of fanatics of every stripe out of the woodwork. Look at the Motley Crue we have here on this thread. Actually, there appear to be some of noble intent and I admire them. There appear as well to be agitators, and provocateurs of every stripe about this and other threads. To everyone: Find peace in your heart now. The time is drawing near where you won't have a chance to change the state of your heart. Find that state of "peace and creativity, forever free" which Uli Roth immortalized on his Firewind album. Realize that even your personal grudges are but chemical reactions - waves and particles and particles waves - in the grand scheme of things. Get centered and face the return of our progenitor(s). Be prepared to fight but only if the powers that be decide to replace us with a new model. That is one thing which will truly unite the world: our necessary resistance to replacement by the new model. In successful resistance, we will reach the next stage of technological advancement, which will in and of itself one day obviate us if we're not careful. So where do we go from here? Who knows the true path to liberty with grave personal responsibility? Who is willing to watch others have a good time? Who can stand to see someone else happy? If you can sit there and enjoy seeing the happiness of others, at least in your corner of the universe all will be well. FWIW Andy
