Arbitrarily I suspect, the analyst on CNBC stated that CPQ was going to be dead money at 24. Using that as a guide, if one is able to get more at the open, perhaps they should take the gift. Otherwise it may be prudent to wait for a dead cat bounce. However, the bounce strategy involves a high degree of timing risk. Any stock taking collateral damage will likely be in the process of recovery by then as well.
