Joe, Too cool about your sitting with Davilla on the plane. Are you going to hold all of your LCAV? I'm too chicken to trade it, and I think the best is yet to come, including the possibility of a friendly acquisition. Please continue to post whatever news you can about the meeting and SNRS. Since I'm heavy and long both LCAV (my only excimer laser play) and SNRS, this could turn into an incredible year! Keep us posted. The ROCKSTER

Did Davilla tell you what she thought of the various Center companies ? Quality of management, quality, safety and care of the procedures ? If we can, we should pick stocks where there is the least risk of malpractice suits. I noticed you like LCAV and it is / was the one where one got the most for one's money. Is founder Joffe there ? He must be a brilliant eye surgeon, from what I read, but perhaps not the greatest manager. He did get out of reimbursible care where he started LCA, so there is evidence of some flexibility. Anything that throws light on how good a management at LCAV now ? Mind you Joffe has enough votes to fire the Board. Not usually the best situation (It was OK in the case of Magna Intl) Walter in HK
