i think we all can agree that SNRS is really overpriced, at least for the first hour tomorrow, so I can buy even more, can't we, please?

Walter,

I do like LCAV, but then again I bought in around 2 3/4. I am going to take a small position in all the centers to figure out which ones I like the best.

I think Joffe is not an ophthalmologist, he's some other kind of surgeon. I think he was the founder of SLTI (Surgical Laser Technologies) which was successful for a while but never really prospered. I haven't followed them for several years and don't know how they are doing. Don't know how or why he left the company.

Those who have been board members of public corporations understand the fiducary responsibility they have. It is non-trival. If the John Gutfreund on LCAV board is the same as the Saloman Bros. ex-chairman that is a very big statement about management.

I am not going to comment on what Davilla had to say. The things she said just further prompt me to commit more of my portfolio to LVC.

With regard to malpractice, I would look for centers with docs that have experience. The more experience with cutting a flap, the lower the complication rate.

Regards,

Joe (jpublic89 on non-SI threads)
