Fred, keep your eye on the ball, not the patents, according to your calculations I am worth 1/10 of VLNC's current capitalization (I wish...) (I have 40 patents of my own, not in one field but in a plurality of fields). The ball is a PO before the money run out, or financing under conventional terms (even sale of stock at current prices) if additional delays are cause by whatever reason. That is the ball, not the patents. The patents are great if exploited, they are worth nothing if VLNC does not have the cash to execute its vision.

Fred: Does IBM have more capital to exploit their patents than Valence does? And have you ever personally walked through the Northern Ireland production facility?
