>>Why would Paul Godin release that information on the Garth Turner show? This doesn't appear to be the way he does things.<<

Actually Lucky, this was kind of how he announced that BII had filed for Nasdaq to begin with.....He did this officially by news release obviously, however, on the Investors Online show on Saturdays with Pat Bolland......Godin was on about.....yikes I forget.....6 weeks ago or so......
anyway....a caller asked if BII would be getting a Nasdaq listing....
Godin said " we have been focusing on this for some time and I expect you will see some news on this VERY soon. ".....Not a direct quote but that was kind of what he said.....
this was the FIRST time Godin had mentioned this to such a " hinted " fact and it was on a television show seen nationally.......I was surprised and yet, the news release came out...I can't remember if it was Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday of that week...but it came out and there it was......Nasdaq application filed.

So..I would not be surprised at all if he said this......and most certainly I hope he did.

saying this....I recall that interview of Godin's and I would like to express again to any new followers of BII just how sharp a cookie Mr.Godin is..........he handled himself SO well in that interview and I am very confident that he will guide this company into the Canadian history books with respect to stock stories.......well done Paul.

I don't think that Godin received word officially from Nasdaq of such an approval.....yet. However, the 60-day application process ends at April 16th. I am sure Godin is fully aware of how this application process is going, and probably in his opinion, no significant issues have been raised that would extend the time requirements. That is why I think Godin said that he expects Nasdaq listing on April 19th.

First of all Lucky, Paul Godin did not release that information on the Garth Turner show. The show merely reported that information obtained by them indicated that it MAY trade on Nasdaq as early as April 19. I believe Godin stated in his earlier interviews that he hopes or expects it to trade on that date...he never said it "will". He got caught in a bit of euphoria back in December when he let it slip that they had signed a cable deal and we didn't actually get the news for a good month or so later. I'm confident that it will go Nasdaq very soon and as for my source, he told me the week before last that the talk around his brokerage house where he works was "you want to own this stock next week". When I spoke to him again yesterday he said hold on for Nasdaq because this stock will be an American daytraders "dream".

Officially, there is no date for Nasdaq. Simply put, many dates have been bantered about but nothing official from the company or the exchange yet. The TSE had to get rid of some dead baggage on the TSE and I think BII happened to be the hottest stock on it's exchange and the biggest TSE performer since late last year and it had an easy selection to make on who was to join the index. Strictly coincidental in my opinion but like everything in life, a little luck goes a long way.
