That would require honesty and a basis of trust, something lacking in the presentations of the current management team. I have felt for a while that if CPQ just laid out its strategy, warts and all, and then executed to that plan, the street would buy in. Perhaps EP and EM do not really understand the strategy. If so then the BOD should take action.

John, Mason has taken quite a (deserved) roasting for his part in cpq's stupid (I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and not call it crooked) moves. But keep in mind that he works for 5fer, who's own background is in finance. I doubt that Mason has much latitude in his job; 5fer is a very persuasive (as in intimidating) boss.
