Um, I think that's the COO, not the CEO.

. Add that to the fact that it appears the NTBK CEO and a Director are leaving the company at the end of this month,

Could be I missed it though. Would you provide a link to said resignation?

Here's the post on the COO leaving. Though it is now a defunked link in the, a, link #reply-8600000.

Brent, who do you see as potential competition? Have you been to NetBanks home page? netbank.com Who do you think will be competing with their rates?

Do you know how few shares are outstanding? Do you know what the ticket price was of the secondary?

What price do you plan on covering? below $100, $80, $50, or above $130?

I ain't guessing where it will go anymore. Surely been on a tear lately, and logically, you have a stand on the short position. I comment you on your honesty, but I wouldn't try betting against this, even at this inflated price.

Best of luck to you though.

Brentsky,

You sound like someone who is bitter because you sold yours early and are hoping for a lower price so you can get back in.

<< Anybody holding shares they bought below 50 and not selling when it spiked above 125 on Friday, are foolish indeed >>

Someone bought at 125. If it was a screaming sell at that price, then did you short it? Why not??

<< Very few stocks can sustain these kind of runups without a pullback and consolidation at a lower price. >>

If that were true, then we'd have a perfect trading system and we'd be rich. The truth is that we just don't know.

<< and the fact that more competition is appearing everywhere >>

Can someone who knows more than I give us a rundown on the competition? There's obviously TBFC. That ATLB announced intentions to get into Internet banking, but I won't put much weight into it until I see what they are offering. Everyone on the planet is annoucning intentions to Internet-something.

<< Especially considering the bad earnings news from Compaq and others to follow. >>

Earnings news from Compaq won't have an affect on this small-cap.

Mike

I agree that NTBK is probably near a short term top, but I would not say I agree that the top has been made on Friday. NTBK broke out about $70, and was one of the first stocks to do so. Secondly NTBK never really participated in the last cycle until the very end. Having watched many internet companies, most of the leaders do not top out so quickly in the cycle. Anything can happen but I do think NTBK will pull back for maybe a couple of weeks. After that I expect to see a minimum of $150, probably more closer to $200 within the next couple of months. If people do not want to deal with selling and buying back I don't see any reason that someone could not hold it through a pullback. I guess everyone needs to decide what their objectives are and price targets.. I frankly took profits during the last cycle and I will not sell for this temporary pullback. I guess we'll find out later if I'm right. Either way congratulations on a nice profit you have made.
Ron
